Well, this just goes to show that peer pressure really works. After months of feet shuffling and hand wringing on my part, along with encouragement, loss of patience and then downright coercion from colleagues, (thanks Ed) I’ve finally started my own blog. What am I going to blog about? I have no clue. Do I even have anything worth saying? Probably not. But 90% of a journalist’s job is to fill space, so get ready for all manner of content, ranging from pictures of cats and celebrities’ favourite snacks to celebrities’ favourite ties and pictures of pandas. BE WARNED – THIS BLOG COULD BLOW YOUR MIND!

I’ll say it up front - like any other blogger, I want to rack up the hits. And I can do that in a more focused way if I have a specific target to aim for. So the magic number, boys and girls, is 30 HITS!! It may be unambitious. It may even be unrealistic. But as I often say, keep your expectations low and you won’t be disappointed!

So just to get the ball rolling, here’s a picture of my cat. Knock yourselves out.
