奥巴马陷入“宣誓门”？

奥巴马二次宣誓就职

 

周二，美国第44任总统Barack Obama（奥巴马)在国会山上进行了他举世瞩目的就职仪式。而就在一天之后，他却又在白宫的地图厅里，面对首席大法官John Roberts进行了第二次就职宣誓。

 

当时，房间里只有奥巴马的几个最亲近的幕僚、一个白宫摄影记者以及其他参加第一次奥巴马政府白宫新闻发布会的记者们。奥巴马嘴角翘翘地，不无打趣地说：“这事儿挺好玩儿。”也就在这时，美国首席大法官Roberts也已经披上了他那件象征法律权威的黑袍，以下是他和总统的简单对话：

 

Roberts：

“您准备好宣誓了吗？”

 

奥巴马：

“是，准备好了。这次我们慢慢来吧。"

 

这次，Roberts带着奥巴马宣誓，没出现任何误差。总统当时也并没有把手放到圣经上，但是宣誓一样具有法律效力。

 

以上的场景并不是美国电视搞笑节目的片段，它确确实实存在。而这一切都为了补救奥巴马总统就职典礼上出现的多年不见的差错…这是怎么回事儿呢？

对美丽才女如田薇者我总是满怀敬意。毫无疑问，田薇小姐是一位有着相当英文造诣、才思敏捷的优秀职业主持人。

可不知田薇小姐是否同意这篇博客的标题可能会让人感到有一点点“哗众取宠”之嫌？ 尽管读者会注意到标题上用了两个标点符号--引号和问号，也相信“它们起到了应该起到的作用”

另外，一个简单的口误好像还扯不上什么“政治阴谋”吧？当然如果作为个人博客，引用“美国上下众说纷纭”之一的“阴谋说”并无丝毫不妥。不过，田薇小姐随后对美国英语中的语言习惯的解释一定会让众多英语学习者获益匪浅。

田小姐：很喜欢看您主持的节目，也喜欢读您的博客。但愿我的评论不会让令人敬佩的田薇小姐有所不快。

咋一看博主：还以为是张惠妹呢！不过还是要比张惠妹漂亮了不少啊！
博主才思敏捷、笔锋犀利、行文流畅、纵横驰骋，堪称才女而又才貌俱全！难得啊！
些许遗憾：博主的英文水平似乎超过了汉语水平，也许是由于打字速度太快、以致出现了个别错别字。望若能稍加注意、那就更完美了！

Different people have different opinions. I think obama want to tell us something in a special way. Because he is the first AfricanAmerican president of the United states.

It is good to capture this issue and bring this out to this part of communication. We need to know this and express our feeling.

There are a lot of headaches ahead of Obama, especially during this financial turmoil.
Superstition, this is not a good sign.

But I am interested in knowing what President Obama would do, say during the first 100 days.

鄙人键阅后的粗浅感言是：新总统贝拉克-奥巴马仍是当今全美社会最最智慧的象征！！！或世界空前聪明男人们的基本象征！！甚至是国际安全新秩序的左翼主和“希望”点……

Thank you for your efforts to look into the issue. But there are various versions as to exactly what happened. Armstrong said that at least he intended to say it. Whether he said it or not, even he did not know.
FYI, please find following reference from Wikepedia, :
\"It has long been assumed that Armstrong had mistakenly omitted the word \"a\" from his famous remark (\"one small step for a man\"), rendering the phrase a contradiction, as man in such use is synonymous with mankind. Armstrong is quoted as saying that he \"would hope that history would grant me leeway for dropping the syllable and understand that it was certainly intended, even if it was not said – although it might actually have been.\"

It has since been claimed that acoustic analysis of the recording reveals the presence of the missing \"a\".[36] A digital audio analysis conducted by Peter Shann Ford, an Australia-based computer programmer, claims that Armstrong did, in fact, say \"a man\", but the \"a\" was inaudible due to the limitations of communications technology of the time.[37][38][39] Ford and James R. Hansen, Armstrong\'s authorized biographer, presented these findings to Armstrong and NASA representatives, who conducted their own analysis.[40] The article by Ford, however, is published on Ford\'s own web site rather than in a peer-reviewed scientific journal, and linguists David Beaver and Mark Liberman at Language Log were skeptical of Ford\'s claims.[41][42][43][44][45][46] Armstrong has expressed his preference that written quotations include the \"a\" in parentheses.\"

文章写得真好，但是我认为奥巴马和大法官在宣誓这种重要的事情上出错，有些不太吉利。这可能跟美国的国运不好有关，而且奥巴马当政期间的美国会怎么样，还是一个未知数。
